Job Description

THE ROLE:

  • Sales and service to all the major industries in the territory.
  • Cultivating and consolidating customer relations.
  • Effectively managing the territory and company resources.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become a ... Student of the industry.
  • Provide technical information, recommendations and guidance.
  • Acquire and enhance strategic marketing and conceptual sales skills.
  • Work with technicians,support services and sales and marketing to facilitate territory development.

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Engineering/technology qualifications with a strong chemistry/laboratory background.
  • Candidates will have, or will immediately obtain registration with the provincial registration body in which they are employed.
  • A 'Peak Performance' mentality with a proactive disposition and a reputation for achievement in a team environment.
  • 3-5 years, progressively responsible, employment experience.

Part-time instructor in the Chemical Technology program for the winter semester (Jan – April 2011). This would involve teaching one section of the inorganic lab (2 3hr lab periods per week 1:15 – 4:15 pm Mondays and Tuesdays), one section of the PreTech lab (high school upgrading) 8:15 – 10:15 am Thursdays, and then 4 1hr lectures per week of PreTech theory (lecture times as yet undetermined).
